The holidays are meant to be a time of warmth, celebration, and togetherness. Yet for many of the individuals and families we serve at the Family Sunshine Center, the added costs of Thanksgiving meals or Christmas gifts are more than they can afford. Many of our clients are already struggling to make ends meet, and holiday expenses can add even more stress to an already difficult situation.
This year, we invite you to join our Season of Holiday Giving and help ease that burden. Your generosity can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking.
Christmas Giving Drive: There are several ways to spread joy to our clients and their families through our Christmas Giving Drive:
- Adopt a Family, Child, or Adult: We will provide you with sizes and wish lists for clients in need, so you can shop for the perfect gifts. Click here to sign up to adopt.
- Santa’s Workshop: Purchase items from our wish lists, allowing clients to surprise their loved ones with gifts. Your donations fill our “Santa’s Workshop,” giving families the joy of picking out something special for each other. Click here for our Holiday Giving Wish List.
- Cash Donations: Prefer to let us do the shopping? With a cash donation, we will select gifts for those in our care, ensuring everyone receives something meaningful. Click here to make a Cash Donation.

Donation Drop Off: All donations can be dropped off at our administrative offices at 858 S. Court Street, Montgomery, AL.

Christmas Holiday Donations: Items and donations will be received from Monday, November 30, 2026, through Thursday, December 17, 2026. We will accept donations Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm at our administrative offices.
Christmas Family Adoption: Please wrap/bag & label children’s gifts individually with the child’s first name and the identification code provided by the agency.
Single Adult Gifts: We are collecting gift cards for single adult clients without children, along with a list of beauty/personal items. This list will be provided to you if you select to adopt a single adult.
Gift Recognition: Submit a logo or photo to krodman@familysunshine.org
