Outreach and Prevention Education is a community resource for spreading awareness of the severity and nuances of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. It includes victim services-focused presentations designed to share with civic, religious, and business groups. Curricula is available for use with children, youth, and college-aged young adults.
We are deeply committed to prevention education, awareness, and support within our community. Educational efforts increase the community’s ability to support victims of abuse in their journey toward survivor-hood and promotes opportunities to prevent violent acts from occurring.
Outreach Services: FSC works to raise awareness of the availability of services for victims of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through dedicated outreach efforts. We recognize that those in need don’t always recognize themselves as victims. For this reason, FSC is always prepared to come speak with your group about the issues we work so passionately to address and the services available to those in need throughout the community. We would love to be a part of your next community event or share with your staff or civic group.
Prevention Education: FSC raises awareness of the issues of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking through prevention education initiatives, in the hopes of preventing future victimization. Prevention Education includes anti-violence presentations designed to share in both school and social settings. Multi-session evidence-based violence prevention curriculums are available for use with children, youth, and college-aged young adults with the hopes of reducing future rates of victimization.
