Crisis Response and Intervention Services are immediate, emergency-oriented services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. All of our services are designed to empower victims in reclaiming their rights, and to provide the tools individuals and families need on the road to safety and recovery. Our crisis intervention advocates offer personalized, non-judgmental support.
Our response and intervention services include 24-hour resource and information hotlines, assessment for services, referrals for needed services, and access to emergency shelter for victims and families who fear for their safety. We provide:
24-Hour Resource and Information Hotline: Call us at 334.263.0218 any time of the day or night to talk to a crisis advocate. They can talk to you about your safety, provide information about resources in your community, and connect you to needed programs and services.
Walk-In Services: Drop by one of our service sites during business hours. No appointment necessary.
Forensic Accompaniment: We can arrange for, and accompany you to, forensic exams provided by a partnering local agency, if needed.
Access to Emergency Shelter: If you are not safe at home or have been forced to flee your home due to violence, please call us. Our staff will work with you to help make a safety plan for you and your children.
